I hadn't realised they'd bern declining. I wish we could ship all ours over there. They're so cute, but sadly they are a pest species here and eat our native bird eggs/chicks.

They really are so noisy when out and about at night. I often hear them before seeing them.

It's like a snuffling noise rustling through leaves.

When they are after a mate lots of loud grunting from the males.

One of the greatest sights you will ever see is a hedgehog pulling itself up a kerb. Truly a feat of majesty.
