The procedure for this instance is to email [email protected] if I'm not mistaken, rather than posting in a community

Nah it can also be done like this there was a thread about the procces a while back here you can find it if you tried i reckon if not i'll find and share it to you if you want.

You'll have a much better chance at a response if you email them. Every time I've requested a community on lemmy itself, nothing happened.
