So i think i would carry a piece of scrim to through at one of these damn things. What a horrible way to die, knowing you can't out run it or stop it.

At least scrim is light and net like. Might give you a chance

It's usually an RPG warhead or DIY shrapnel explosive. When those two wires touch, it triggers the fuse.
