More serious politics should go in [email protected].

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.

‘She pulled into the middle lane in an attempt to get away from him but he followed her and rammed her again.’

The woman pulled her Tesla into the hard shoulder and the silver BMW ‘got away’.

Meaning she was in the offside overtaking lane and even then still had room to pull into the nearside lane to let overtaking cars past. I don't condone what he did but fuck people who sit in the overtaking lanes.

Apologising through his lawyer Islam Khan, Bathurst-Shaw-Binning said: ‘I don’t know what happened to me that day and I don’t know why I was so stupid that my remorse did not appear when interviewed.’

He was full of mysteriously undetectable remorse.

This guy is an absolute nutcase for doing what he did, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't at least had a little urge to give someone a nudge when they're sat in the overtaking lane in front of me with empty lanes on their left

The questionably legal move there is to pull up alongside, match speed and prevent them from moving left. I mean, they weren't going to, so there's no problem whatsoever you being there, right? Why are they sweating?

For middle lane hoggers, the orbit game is the questionably legal response. (Move right, overtake, move left twice, fall back. Repeat. How many times can you do it before they get the message, etc.)

Obligatory disclaimer: If you play silly games, be alert for silly prizes. This applies to you as well as them. Traffic conditions change frequently, and also your nemesis might be more of a nutter than you are (see article's protagonist). Only play if safe to do so. If you are not sure, don't play.

"a nudge?" on a fucking motorway? JFC peoples misunderstanding of physics is terrfiying.

Do you think maybe I wasn't being entirely serious? I'm not a fucking idiot, obviously that could have disastrous consequences

Did he use his turn signal to indicate his intent beforehand? If not he's just as bad!

Use your turn signals, people!

I love how all the drivers are in the comments like "I ain't saying he's right but I get it"
