Tilting the keyboard allows players to align their elbows with the desk, enhancing focus and immersion.

Yeah, that's not how ergonomics work.

I never understood how better equipment that is more ergonomically centric isn't something many eSports enthusiasts invest it especially at a professional level. Looking at that hurts.

Because they're kids, and probably poor too. When I was younger I played so much CS 1.6 that I seriously considered going pro. The setup I had then would probably literally kill me now, but when I was a teenager I didn't feel it at all. I could work with anything so long as I had my trusty MX518.

I don't understand why gaming keypads like the Razer Tartarus didn't really take off. Feels so much better to game on than stretching your pinky to hold Ctrl to crouch.

This is 100% only for maximizing desk space for low sensitivity aiming, and anyone else that does it for any other reason is just copying pros and lying about their reason. Its mot for ergonomics. It doesnt make keys easier or faster to press. All it does is give the mouse more desk space to move around on.

I think this is very dependant on what keys you actually need to be pressing.

I can understand some level of tiling the keyboard, because then your left wrist can be holding straight. But the images and videos are a bit too extreme. I personally just move the keyboard a little bit to the left side on the desk and do not tilt. I tried to illustrate this with noob art

They've got it wrong about keyboard tilt. You want a neutral position for your wrists https://www.unh.edu/research/ergonomics/keyboard-ergonomics.
