Going to the future seems like an extremely high risk. Uncertainty of whether the my country exists, the world, and what I can do to survive. I'd be extremely behind in tech which sucks bad.

Mostly as they fight among themselves about what to do about the great problem of keeping violent gun waving American lunatics out! I mean c'mon Toronto! Detroit is RIGHT THERE, and you don't have a contingency plan??? Canada should build a wall.
