Minced meat. My local shop forced me to make a lot of adjustments to the recipe I decided to follow, so I just decided to follow my heart.

Oh, and onion.

Is your heart a good cook?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think so, it didn't taste nearly as bad as it looked.

Glad to hear it. Here’s a tip for cooking meat in general: raise the heat and try and sear it so that it browns the outside. It’ll taste better and be more appealing 🍖

You also shouldn't overcrowd the pan or else you'll steam the meat rather than brown it. In my experience, it's difficult to brown more than 1lb of ground meat in a 10" stainless skillet.

I'll eat it with some rice.

And sauce/salsa 👌

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I mean with some salsa and preferably in a tortilla wrap this could work

Where are the potatoes ? You need "streak, blé d'Inde, patate", which roughly translates into steak, corn and potatoes.

Come on man

place it all on a cassarole dish and cover it with mashed potatoes, then bake it at 350 F for half an hour

AKA ... shepherd's pie
