So many simps of hers, buta buta defend her.
i don't blame MUDA, politics is a very scary and evil game. Nobody gives a shit about racial equality or climate change when people are too busy fighting each other on racial and religious matters. It makes sense from game theory pov to field and promote her as the face of the brand.
Before Abe Lim, unless it's directly about SS, who gave a shit about MUDA lol. It's essentially a no-name brand and the amount of attention MUDA is currently getting is great for them.
No issue if they want to focus the limelight on a candidate, but the quality of Abe Lim's campaign is just so..... Bad. Which is really surprising given the resources she has at her disposal.
By resources if you mean monetary wise she struggles like many candidates.
tbf, we live in a world whereby dissemination of information can be done really easily for little to zero cost thanks to social media. One minute you do the ding ding dang dang Vietnamese dance nek minute you're viral lol.
their situation isn't any different from startups. Plus they are all using SS and MUDA as leverage, if they campaigned independently it's going to be even more challenging
i have honestly never even heard of others but Melanie is even worse. I saw a video of her saying she wants to be regarded as YB (Yang Berkhidmat) and not as "Yang Berhormat". And just like Abe, they both used their upbringings and their career choices to justify why they need to be elected. Also, Abe Lim's bar AMA backfired, and yesterday evening she shared her manifseto, less than 48 hr before the election... like shouldn't that be made clear from the outset?
I'm surprised MUDA don't coach them and just field them like that... I remember when Jamaliah Jamaluddin first ran for Bandar Utama she actually made sense. Yes, its a DAP-PH stronghold but i can tell she put a lot of work in her speeches or the seniors prepared her well.
OR maybe MUDA have already coached and prepared these kids and this is the end result. They should just take the L and learn from their mistakes and contest again in 5 years time.
