So many companies are going to shit out cheap low effort AI generated content. You already see this kind of shit on mobile and only it's going to get easier and easier.

AI is incompatible with for profit art.

You can just not play these kind of games then. AAA games already suck, and there will always be indie developers making genuinely good games.

I don't know what qualifies as "working well" for you.

I'm having a lot of fun with some pretty awesome indie games for little money, so it is definitely working for me at least.

Games are already mostly ruined so I'm not too worried about it.

The kinds of developers who were going to make anything I would care about will continue to do so. The studios that shit out A.I. generated crap were going to generate crap one way or another anyways.
