Based on reactions on the subreddit, I appear to be in the minority of people that just doesn't care much about this.
Early PTU waves suck. This change just seems like it's going back to the way it was when the waves were first started and it gives players that actually want to test a way of getting early access.

Seems like this defeats the purpose? I'm sure most players log in during peak hours. They should just have one way per peak per day.
CIG will just have to balance waves out based on player stats. I don't think he is saying there's a set timeframe. If playercounts drop below a certain level for Wave 1, they'll add Wave 2, and so on.
gotta love the amount of salt stuff like this generates :D
Subscribers get access to wave 1? Bet.
The only thing that doesn't make sense is how subscribers are on Wave 1
For patches where there's actually cool features, people are just going to sub and slam that wave.
