Anybody want to help out @[email protected] ?

Can someone explain or point me towards a good tutorial that explains how to match complex curves, like the PS5 side panels?

I want to make a controller stand that sits on top of my PS5 in it's horizontal position.

I'm most familiar (but still very beginner) with Fusion 360, but I'm open to trying other software if there's some killer feature that makes this easier.

Any tips appreciated, thanks.

what I do is use a profile gage and either transfer that to grid paper and scan or put a ruler next to it and take a picture.

the grid paper allows you to correct for any distortion present in the scan/picture using an image editor or something like uv mapping in blender.

alternatively, you could get clever with a height gage I suppose. but if you have one of those laying around you'd probably have more sophisticated metrology methods as well.

I also wanna say the curves on a PS5 are not particularly complex. you could probably match it with a 3x3 nurbs or similar.
