I agree, but I don’t think he ever lived up to his potential. I think Smith may be feeling the heat in his 3rd year to produce a better record and at least make the playoffs.
He played pretty bad on Friday night and Terry made it clear if you don't compete you gotta go. I don't think Blank is going to fire him this year, maybe next year, but not after this season.
