I have a **youtube music subscription **and have not figured out how or if I can download music/playlists from it. Note this is different than just downloading music from YouTube. Just wondered if anyone know a way to download to PC or MAC? Thanks

Yt-dlp, just go to the page with your song or playlist and past that into yt-dlp on PC.

I've heard of both, only ever used YouTube dl. Not sure what the difference is

Install NewPipe, find the music you want to download in YouTube Music, hit share, share with NewPipe, profit

For desktop I suggest Parabolic, now it's on Windows too!

Note this is different than just downloading music from YouTube

No, it isn't. Just remove the music. subdomain and download the music aa you wpuld normally from YouTube.

All links are publicly accessible, but it will limit you to 128kbps. I'm not aware of any way to rip the 320kbps streams, as the files seem to he protected.
