I've found mega.nz to be very easy to set up a storage drive account with. Alternatively (and we'd want to check with poVoq on storage space, but I think we have the option to set up a wiki for this community, which could also (eventually) become that organized resource for players and GMs.
Fully Automated RPG
This community is for discussing solarpunk tabletop gaming, organizing games, and sharing questions, new content, and memes.
For more info visit fullyautomatedrpg.com.
Those both sound like good options.
@[email protected] : would it be possible to set up a wiki for sharing maps and such for our game? Currently, they take up around 40 MB.
https://wiki.slrpnk.net/fullyautomatedrpg:start
You can edit that page and the namespace as a mod of this community (however due to an incomplete authentication script you currently need to set a display name and an email address in your Lemmy profile, otherwise the login on the wiki will fail).
Edit: I need to check the size of the files allowed for upload. Looks like they are currently limited to 2mb which is a bit low.
Ok, the wiki now allows up to 50mb uploads per individual file. You need to be in your community's namespace then then you can open the media manager and select the upload tab.
Okay: I've started using this, and this is a great resource. I was wondering if I could make more pages within this subdomain. I'd like to add the following pages:
- One page for each of the six maps, so that each page can list all the formats of each map.
- A page for background images
- A page for each of the four starting adventures, linking to all relevant assets
- A page for user-generated assets.
Is it possible to get permission to create new pages?
You can create as many pages as you like in your Wiki namespace. With the exception of this specific page that lets you edit the namespace specific side menu, you can just replace the start
in the URL with any other page name. Or alternatively you can make a Wiki link in the editor to a page that does not exist yet and reach it that way.
I don't think I currently have that privilege. I tried that, and the page has a message that says
This topic does not exist yet
You've followed a link to a topic that doesn't exist yet. If permissions allow, you may create it by clicking on Create this page.
And "Create this page" isn't a clickable link.
Edit: Never mind, I misunderstood the instructions!
