I tried with 'LEO' a free AI tool. Didn't return useful content for me. It's not that long. Anyway, I just posted a heartfelt video from Sheldon Keefe himself, addressing Leaf Nation. Pretty classy.

You know he's taking his next team to the Finals, right?! Lol

I'm sure his future is bright! In my opinion, the failure of the team falls more on Dubas's shoulders. As GM, he was responsible for the team makeup. But what to do with Johnny Toronto, and Mr. Marner? 😁

Not sure I'd blame Dubas on this one. They made progress (R2) last year but back to R1 this year. Treliving didn't improve the team - didn't spend on Klingberg's LTI cap space, Reeves/Dewar didn't really make any impact, and still no secondary scoring. And bad luck with injuries - Matthews/Woll/McMann injuries.

Marner for Saros! haha

I'm still chuckling that no one has mentioned the strength and conditioning staff at this point. How many years in a row has the goaltenders or one of the major players been hurt down the stretch? Shit happens, but at some point someone has to be like, gee we are rather injury prone, maybe we should do something different.

Oh yeah I know, let's fire the coach.

No secondary scoring? They barely had primary scoring. Nylander had 3 goals. Then it was Knies with 2 and a bunch of players with 1, including the rest of the "core four"

Wouldn't secondary scoring mean from the bottom 6 guys? Kampf got one and that was it, wasn't it?

I was implying that the lack of secondary scoring shouldn't be that big of a concern when the whole team had trouble scoring. Even their "best" players barely scored. In particular, 1 power play goal is a problem and the bottom six generally aren't part of that.
