Hopefully this doesn't spread. My partner already has a difficult time going into public because she's highly allergic to a very common ingredient that's in practically everything.

Would this include airplanes flying into NC? Like, if I have a layover in Charlotte and I'm only gonna be at the airport a few hours, I can't wear a mask on the plane to Charlotte, or at the Charlotte airport? I know planes are owned by the airlines so they're not "public", but what about inside an airport?
I can only speak from an international perspective but I've taken a plane from Canada through USA a few years ago. During that time Canada had a mask mandate so all of us have to keep our mask on from the airport all the way to boarding. However, once the cabin door closes, apparently, that's when American law kicks in. The mask mandate is lifted according to US law. Maybe US state laws work similarly?

Most of the people I see that wear masks are old ladies trying to avoid getting sick. How fucking pathetic do they have to be to be so afraid of the world that they want to ban immune compromised people from wearing a mask?

I hope one of the local government members gets a major sickness like COVID because someone with it comes up to them unmasked and sneezes on them. Then their Republicans might learn a lesson so long as it was one of them getting sneezed on. Though, I doubt it.
Doubt it. Would be a repeat of when Trump got COVID, where he kept saying it was nothing while getting massive medical help to recover from it.
