Number two, NATO is considerably stronger than it was when I took office. I put it together. Not only did I reestablish the fact that it was the strongest alliance in the history of the world, I was able to expand it. While I was in one of the G7 meetings in Europe. when I got back I called on the President of Finland because when I had met earlier in the year with Putin, he said he wanted to see the Finlandization of NATO. I told him, he's gonna get not the Finlandization, the Natoization of Finland. And everybody thought, including you guys, thought I was crazy.

And guess what? I did it. I did it. And we're now the strongest nation. We have the strongest alliance in all of America, all of history.

What are the nature of your conversations with the Israelis right now? Have you spoken with Bibi?

Biden: I have not spoken with Bibi since—I have not spoken with Bibi since the attack on Sunday. Was it Sunday?

Ben LaBolt: Yep. Sunday.

Biden: I have not. My team has.

But has he crossed your red line?

Biden: I'm not going to respond to that because I'm about to make a…anyway.

Absolutely normal for the transcription of an interview with the President conducted inside the Oval Office to have the word “unintelligible” in it three times

[–] [email protected] 15 points 4 months ago

Oh yeah, things are going great, nothing to see here, Jack!

That’s the brain chip they put in to remotely puppeteer him malfunctioning and causing the demonic entity that inhabits his body to emit its true sounds

Biden: Hamas. Hamas could end this tomorrow. Hamas could say ~~(unintelligible)~~ [speaks Arabic] and done period.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 4 months ago

Hamas was calling for a ceasefire in October. In November, the Brandon Regime invented the term "humanitarian pause" because they would not even says the word ceasefire.

It is so absurd that Biden says that Hamas doesn't want a ceasefire when he wouldn't even say that word ceasefire for several months after Israel began bombing Gaza.

Quoting Biden quoting Macron: “we are experiencing brain death”

Biden: It would depend on the circumstances. You know, by the way, I've made clear to Xi Jinping that we agree with—we signed on to previous presidents going way back—to the policy of, that, it is we are not seeking independence for Taiwan nor will we in fact, not defend Taiwan if they if, if China unilaterally tries to change the status. And so we're continuing to supply capacity. And, and we've been in consultation with our allies in the region.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Taiwan must feel very reassured

[–] [email protected] 30 points 4 months ago

Taiwan right now jesse-wtf

[–] [email protected] 11 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Wait what? Biden literally said that if the PRC invades Taiwan they'll just let it happen?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 4 months ago (1 children)

nor will we in fact, not defend Taiwan

Don't know if it's deliberate, but he's using a double negation

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 months ago

Ohhhhh. So its more like "We don't wanna start shit but we are their ally soooooo"

[–] [email protected] 28 points 4 months ago (3 children)

The funniest part is Biden threatening the interviewer:

Could you really do this job as an 85-year old man?

Biden: I can do it better than anybody you know. You’re looking at me, I can take you too.

[–] [email protected] 29 points 4 months ago

Lmao, again: How is this guy different from Trump?

To be honest he seems even more delusional lol

[–] [email protected] 18 points 4 months ago

I can do it better than anybody you know

It would be quicker to list the people who could do a worse job.

If a terminally ill child from the make a wish foundation wanted to be president for a day, I would trust their judgment over his.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 4 months ago (1 children)

You’re looking at me, I can take you too.

I know I'm not saying anything revelatory, but if any 2 month-trained fighter roundhouse kicked him in the head it would look like an old jack-o-lantern being hit with a baseball bat

so in searching this interview i didnt see any mention of the fact that a lot of it is pretty incoherent. I see a lot of editorializing to get the general thrust of what he was saying but nobody commenting on the content at face value.

[–] [email protected] 25 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

They get paid hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of dollars to let the president of a country talk about enacting tariffs on the wrong country without stopping to ask him to clarify. Incredible.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 4 months ago

Listen Jack, why do you hate freedom?

[–] [email protected] 27 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (3 children)

I have that exact quote here. And they no longer lead the world and the transatlantic alliance has to be reexamined. And the interesting piece of that is you now have his former adviser John Bolton saying, he’s certain that the first thing Trump would do if he got reelected is get out of NATO completely.

Please. Oh please. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I have never wanted anything more than for this to happen. I don't believe it will happen but oh my fucking god it would be so fucking good for us and the entire world.

LOOOOOOOOOOL look at this fact check bullshit:

https://time.com/6985020/joe-biden-fact-check-2024-interview/

What Biden Said: “The Russian military has been decimated. You don’t write about that. It’s been freaking decimated.”

The Facts: This is a fair assessment, according to a Reuters report on a declassified U.S. intelligence assessment provided to Congress. The intelligence determined that Russia had 360,000 active military personnel when it invaded Ukraine in February of 2022. By December of last year, 315,000 Russian troops had been either killed or injured in the war—a reduction in troop strength by 87%.

Absolute fucking bollocks, they are out of their fucking minds. The Russian army does not only have 55,000 troops remaining. You are fucking idiots Time.

But on that last point, is there a danger that NATO is on a slippery slope to war with Ukraine—with Russia, as things stand?

Biden: No, we're on a slippery slope for war if we don't do something about Ukraine. It’s just not gonna…anyway…

This is Biden stopping himself from letting slip that Ukraine is not gonna end well. He thinks the US is gonna be dragged into it. He's all but saying that the situation is not gonna be won without that happening.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 4 months ago

Idiots? They’re paid propagandists. Time just knows their audience well: mindless, blue dog white liberals who mainline state department propaganda and absolutely love muh reliable sources.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 4 months ago

The Russian armed forces are down to 55,000 troops.

Mongolian horsemen stand at the ready to annex all of Russia. I repeat, Operation Temujin is a go. Send the Mangudai, capture Moscow.

The Great Khan rides again

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

On the rules of projection I would say that about the ukkkraine army. So much biaoqing-copium

[–] [email protected] 25 points 4 months ago (1 children)

And whose fault is it that the that deal, the ceasefire for hostages has not been consummated? Is it Hamas or Israel or both?

Biden: Hamas. Hamas could end this tomorrow. Hamas could say (unintelligible) and done period.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 4 months ago

Hamas: Brrgghhrrbghhhrraal

Genocide: Ends

[–] [email protected] 24 points 4 months ago

This whole thing is just... I don't even know lmao

[–] [email protected] 24 points 4 months ago (1 children)

why'd they interview some random old man in president anthony blinken's office

[–] [email protected] 23 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Biden: No, it's not. And by the way, I don't know why you skip over all that’s happened in the meantime. The Russian military has been decimated. You don’t write about that. It’s been freaking decimated. Number one.

Folks, they're calling him Joseph Redditor Biden

Fun idea: Create a webpage that has a copy of a reddit thread and sprinkle in a bunch of quotes from American politicians and see if people can spot the difference.

Biden: To finish what I started in the first term. To continue to make sure that the European continent—I'll tell you, I got a call from Kissinger about 10 days before he died. And he used the following comment. He said that not since Napoleon has Europe not looked over their shoulder at dread with what Europe—what Russia may do, until now. Until now, you can't let that change.

ok

There are going to be a billion people in Africa in the next several years. We have to, we have to be a catalyst for change for the benefit, for the, for the better, we have to help them build back better, we have to help them.

how strong China is and how powerful they are. Name me—Would you trade places with Xi Jinping and any other country? Not a joke? I'm being deadly earnest, a rhetorical question. But would you? You’ve got a population that’s considerably older than the vast majority of the youth in Europe, that is too old to work. And they are xenophobic. Where is it coming from? Where is it going to grow? You’ve got an economy that's on the brink there. The idea that their economy is booming? Give me a break.

:cope: (especially "too old to work" lmao, I think any Chinese gramp could be your ass, Joe)

I do have one last on China, which is are they meddling in the election? Have you seen evidence that they're meddling with AI or in other ways in the US election?

Biden: There, there, there, there is evidence that meddling is going on

and yet the Xi-Bux are arriving in my bank account late, as usual...

The Belt and Road initiative? It's become a nuisance graveyard initiative. I'm serious. Think about it. I've been saying this for three years, and you guys write, “No, China’s on the right—China’s gonna break through.” Where are they, where are they breaking through? And look what's happening in Africa.

double China :cope:

This shit has so many trump like quotes that I honest to God believe he was told to speak like him to get the "he just tells it like it is!!!!" Crowd lmao

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

Naw it's just that their geriatric brains are decaying in similar ways

[–] [email protected] 19 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (2 children)

[Putin] has just laid out, straight out. He said, he said, ‘I would like to emphasize again, Ukraine is not a neighboring country of us. It is an inalienable part of our own history, culture and spiritual space…Since time immemorial, the people living in the south-west of what has historically been Russia, Russian land have called themselves Russians and Orthodox Christians.’ And he goes on. He makes this whole speech about why it is part of reestablishing the Soviet Union.

honestly torn on whether the lump of pudding in his skull actually believes this bullshit or just thinks the cable-news-watching dessicated boomers that vote in this country will believe it

[–] [email protected] 20 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Wasn't there some article a couple months ago about how he gets all his news from like msnbc or something lmao?

The man is literally just Trump with a (D)

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

I very distinctly remember Putin's opening speech saying that if Ukraine wishes for continued de-sovietization so much, then Russia will provide it for them (as in take away the Russian speaking regions that were formed under the Ukrainian SR) , which is exactly the opposite of reforming the USSR.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 4 months ago

Biden has assimilated trump's incoherent rambling prose. He will win.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's like crossing your eyes while looking at a Jackson Pollock because you think it's a magic eye picture but no 3d image appears and now your eyes hurt.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 4 months ago (1 children)

He repeats both “Chinese economy is on the brink of collapse” and that they’re meddling in the election. Neoliberal really is a good reflection of what the upper echelons of Washington think, save for a few level-headed people like Millie.

An enemy that is both weak and strong.
