The big 3 are Bell, Rogers and Telus.

Boycott the big 3 by switching to the smaller telecom companies: Sasktel, Lüm Mobile, Freedom, Fizz, Vidéotron, Eastlink, Ecotel, Execulink, Ice Wireless, Nexicom, Sogetel, TBayTel, K-Net Mobile.

The big 3 have a marketshare of 82.8%.

The Saskatchewn Party is dismantling the last canadian telecom crown corporation Sasktel. Vote them out.

I couldn’t find more up to date information from the year 2023 but I would imagine the other category is gaining more market share recently :)

A good strategy is to pick the biggest one and boycott the he'll out of it.

It's doesn't matter how, go with number 2, go with number 3, anything but number 1.

If enough people do that, it would destroy 1 or completely eliminate it. Then once it fails, move the boycott onto the new number 1 and repeat.

We can't do much by going after all the big three because we all need to use someone's services. Some people have choice but most of us who don't live near a major city have no choice. So the only logical way to create an effective boycott is to target one company and put all our efforts into that.

Once the first boycott is successful, the next corporation will have to think about how to handle the situation. It makes an example of what is possible with organized boycott.

Let’s do that! I’m thinking of targeting Rogers as they are the largest operator and we should punish them for acquiring Shaw. Let us be the just regulator.

If you’re in a remote area that doesn’t have access to smaller operator networks switch to MVNO Resellers such as Petro-Canada Mobility, 7-Eleven SpeakOut, Execulink Mobility, Cityfone, Primus Wireless, SimplyConnect, Zoomer Wireless, good2go Mobile Canada, DCI Wireless.

That way you do not give the big 3 money directly. The profits are then shared with third party companies. Who knows maybe they will raise enough capital to start building their own towers ;)
