This is a curated community for AI-generated images that are virtually indistinguishable from real photos. To keep this community filled with high-quality generations, if your submission doesn’t look realistic enough it may be removed at moderator discretion.

Rules:

  1. Generations must be realistic. Generated images that do not look realistic enough will be removed.
  2. No NSFW. NSFW generations are strictly prohibited. This includes gore, nudity, and sexually-suggestive content.
  3. Be nice: Constructive criticism is more than welcome, but directed hate of any kind is not tolerated here.
  4. Give it your own spin! As this is a curated community, creativity is highly encouraged. Posts must have a bit of unique style or flair. If your generated photo looks average, standard, or common, your post may be removed. Portrait photos are one of many examples that tend to get removed if they do not have some unique or stylistic attribute. If you're unsure, change your prompt to add unique lighting or a specific photographer's style.

Rules are subject to change at any time as this community grows.

Go ahead, show us her hands.

I'm not an expert, but here you go:

the image from the original post with very badly drawn hands

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

not enough fingers

Perfection.

Wow she’s realistic. Which app is it? SD?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

that's because we don't see the fingers

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (2 children)

That's pretty old news, most of the time the fingers are very fine. It's usually some part of face that gives it away.

I mean, yeah, you still get them from time to time. But for all I know, the prompt here was mutated hands. I play with AI often and it doesn't happen that much.

Also the eyes/pupils are usually a give away. The ears here are also weird and different parts of the body are at different levels of focus.

Stable Diffusion, can't remember the exact model, but I can look it up tomorrow if you wish.

This could fool many people. The defects are only visible when taking a moment to look at the details and zoom in. The mouth/lips are strange on the left corner. The hearings are not the same, the one on the right doesn't make sense.

It’s interesting but now I’m able to distinguish easily if an image was made with AI. Happened the same when cgi started on movies . The illusion immersion gets depleted .

I retouch and create images for a living and yeah if I zoom in it's immediately obvious, however if this was just an ad I was scrolling past with some text to sell you whatever bullshit cream, I'm not sure I'd notice...
