Already live? Maybe as a staged rollout, because I have a Pixel 6 and I can't get that update yet.
It only applies to Pro series models and you can check the app version in the app info.
Maybe if I had the update, I would be able to read better!

Not really sure I see the point in the lens controls. Does it change the way the pictures are processed, or does it just remove the ability to "zoom" between the lenses?
Removes the ability to zoom between the lenses. I welcome the change, I've had experiences where I'd want to be at 5x zoom and would accidently flip down to 4.9x and swap lenses.
This is an optional setting in the "pro" tab in Google camera
