Has anybody heard of this website and is it legit? Otherwise is there any known way of using GPT4 for free or less than 20 euros a month?

do you need GPT4 specifically? If not, mistral has their large model for free available: https://chat.mistral.ai/chat

Just sign up for their API and use chatboxai.app (free software), use the GPT4 API code, and you'll use the model through an alternative front-end for pennies on the dollar.

I'm using it extensively and rarely spend more than 1,20 - 1,50 a month.

I would recommend instead to use the AI Horde: https://stablehorde.net/ It's a collection of people hosting stable diffusion/text generation models

There's also openrouter which can connect to ChatGPT with a token-based system. (They check your prompts for hornyposting though)

There's this Awesome Free ChatGPT project that supposedly lists free ChatGPT mirror sites. It's up to you how much you want to trust those sites:

The websites listed here are from the internet, please do not enter any personal sensitive information on these websites.

(I found it in FMHY.)

It would also be nice if there were a way to use them anonymously. ChatGPT seems to allow this, but I’m not entirely comfortable with OpenAI.

duckduckgo has an array of LLMs, which they take care of anonymity

If they want proper anonymity, the user needs to protect against fingerprinting from the duckduckgo website (Tor or Mullvad). If by anonymity you are meaning from OpenAI, then duckduckgo needs to be running user's text prompts through a paraphrasing LLM to normalize text and avoid deanonimization using writing-style Fingerprinting.

Good to know. Thanks!

The latest Claude is even slightly better than gpt4o, and you can use it for free.

ChatGPT is already free, even GPT-4o since recently.

Granted, you do need an account which requires a phone number, but there are no financial costs.
