Fuck yeah Uytae Lee for president

I'm always look forward to Uytae's videos but since his last few topics seems to have driven legislative changes I really wonder what he'll tackle next.

But also kudos to Ravi Kahlon for actually listening to good ideas, he's a gem in this provincial government

Great news! Hopefully we'll see this in other provinces now

This would mean more 3 bedroom apartments as well correct?

Theoretically yes but it also encompasses a number of different design changes.

These are his videos talking about it:

How Breaking Rules Could Create Better Apartments - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=011TOfugais

Why North America Can't Build Nice Apartments (because of one rule) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRdwXQb7CfM

I watched the first one, it was really well done.

There's some really interesting options in there if we can change the rules a bit.

It's all fun and games until the single stair is blocked by fire.

These are usually meant for shorter buildings, and I imagine the staircases are all concrete and can't catch fire.

That being said, if you're in a multi level building and it's only a handful of levels, you should have a window escape ladder as the fire could be just outside your apartment, or in your apartment blocking the door

Maybe they should even be included, a 4 story, 4 units a level building would only be 16 ladders to provide.

I was more thinking of the stair exit being blocked by fire, not on fire itself.

Ah yes, in that case that's why they should be supplying window ladders you can keep under the bed or nearby
