I checked their webesite/app, that was mentioned that all features require payment.

Do people not read about apps before using them or something? Thats so strange, if I wanted to learn a language, I would make sure that’s possible with the app before using it myself.

But is the test worth anything more than just a little ego boost and online award? Isn’t the lessons enough anyways?

"I'm getting a lot from this app, and it's really helping me, but now they want me to support them so that the app can continue to exist."

Shit people think these days.

"I could have mastered Spanish, but thanks to a paywall I will never be mas bueno."

are you surprised when they tell you to pay at a check out?

Things aren’t free.

Your UI looks like you're using iOS. In the app store, at the bottom of the page for each app is a list of items available for purchase in the app. You can look at that list before even deciding to download anything. Sometimes the listing's are vague and just say something like "membership". In that case, for a language learning app, you can assume it is to unlock "certificates".

I'd you're looking g for another app, try Language Transfer. I've personally never used it but everybody says that it's the best

I was reading through the comments here, and I went through OPs post history.

It feels a lot like a neurodivergent person, maybe Autism of some kind. The post / questions appear weird to others, but they feel genuine. I live in a very neurodivergent home, and I kinda get it.

Thanks, person. I am autistic: specifically Aspergers. I feel like you understand me well.

Take care!
