What's its name? I've seen some before, but rarely. Once every few years or so. Thanks

Edit: the likeliest candidate is an Old House Borer without antennae.

The lack of antennae is confusing.

Also, while searching, didn't realize fireflies were beetles.

I bet when that was a larvae it spent it's time gnawing through some dead wood;)

There is a lot of dead wood in the immediate area.

Edit: so it seems to be a Old House Borer, but it lacks the antennae.
