I don't know why we're sharing this. This is a bad purchase and a poor use-case. Also this guy just churns out these benchmark videos for Mini PCs like they're going out of style.

Seriously, this thing looks awesome.
You can buy an ATX form factor and get double the power for the same money. There's no sense in using mobile processors in desktop PCs.
The form factor is why this thing is cool though. I know a handful of tournament organizers who love how much better these things have gotten. (Also, this is using about a tenth of the energy that your ATX build will likely use.)
I have a mini-PC from Minisforum (not this one) dedicated as a media computer in my living room. It can fit nicely inside the TV bench, which a regular sized computer wouldn't do. I like that I can play games like Horizon: Zero Dawn on it without any issue. I love it, and I gave about 800 USD for it.
I am planning getting a high-end rig for my office later (next year maybe?), and then I of course will not consider a mini-PC.
I found ITX did, it did restrict my options however with my Ryzen 5 and RX6650 XT I can play everything at full detail and high resolutions. Linux is awesome with AMD hardware.
That's probably true. However, I'm sure there are people out there who have very limited space and do not need that extra power for the games ey play.
Given the world these last few years, there have been many people who have been forced to downsize and get or become room mates or live in an RV. This doesn't necessarily mean a person can't enjoy a little downtime. The primary point is that every inch counts. Or so, she says.

Then they can spend less money on a less powerful ATX system. I don't understand where the confusion is coming from.
Please re-read my post. I said multiple times that a small form factor is crucial in some situations.
ATX = full desktop form factor Mini-ITX = smaller OP video = compact
It's not always about money. It's not always about raw power either.
Why ATX when you can go MiniITX?
I do have an Ryzen 7 5700G in my DeskMini A300. But had to cut a hole in the case for the cooler.

Yup, it’s bottom of the barrel content. He also constantly engagement baits by asking people to comment if they want to see X or Y running on the machines he features, and he never actually does whatever he’s saying. It’s just a content farm.
He used to be good especially when the steam deck was first being released he did some good early videos on it. However it seems like in the last year or so every single minipc/handheld/etc vendor started sending him free review units and he feels compelled to do a video on every single one. He's probably got rooms full of awesome tech stuff that isn't being used, or he sells it.
I kinda stopped paying attention to him when he said oculink 4i has 8 lanes of pcie, or something like that.

Sure, but lots of people are looking to install it anyway because they "need" it to play Valorant or whatever.

Oh, maybe? Windows 10 EOL is coming up soon, though, so Windows 11 is relevant for almost all Windows 10 users.
I wonder what happens with all the hardware that is not considered W11 ready when W10 goes EOL. And no, I don't think "switch to Linux" mantra is solution for everyone. It sure is possible for a lot of home users, but I mean mainly those thousands and thousands of office/corp/workstation PCs with SW that simply can't be moved to Linux. Is it simply going to be one huge middle finger from MS?

Yeah it's very obvious that he speedruns these reviews. How can you expect him to properly test the hardware when he can't even make sure the specs are accurate, or even give it just a quick spell-check?
It's a washed out channel indeed.
I watch a fair bit of this YT Channel. He plays with / evaluates a lot of hardware that I'd otherwise never see or even know existed. I also like that he evaluates using both Windows and Linux since I'm interested in both and from his perspective it widens his audience.
i 100% agree. i love eta primes dedication to optimizing his gaming experience. linux, windows, fringe handhelds... i love his ish -he's always feels honest and genuine
I guess this is my kind of system. I am the type to play older, low-end pre-2016 games, and build apps locally, if they're not available on the substitute servers. Not sure why there's so much disagreement towards this video?
@mr_MADAFAKA I have that one running ChimeraOs and it plays great. They are great little machines. (Might try out Bazzite on it sometime I keep hearing good things about it).
I mean, if you need a screen and controller as well a steam deck seems smaller.

Looks like one of the 8-Bit Do ultimate controllers. I don't recognise the stick/body colour combination, my black ones were just black
