Hello fellow Calvin and Hobbes fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… The comics are posted in chronological order on the day (usually) they were released. Posting them to match the release date adds a bit of fun and nostalgia to match the experience of reading them in the newspaper for first time. Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. It really sucked when I missed a day. Only years later, when I got the books was I able to catch up on the missed strips.

Hey, he said please. That's a big win. I mean, yeah, make him take the trike back out, but the unprompted "please" for a ~~five~~ six-year-old? Maybe Calvin isn't as much of a brat as I thought before I had kids.
Yeah this is a good opportunity for some imagination play.
"Sure, but since this is a drive-thru, you're gonna have to pay for them!"
Or "Sorry, but this is the grapes store, do you want 8 grapes to go?"

I'd bet the wrong one got posted, then it got updated but the update hasn't propagated to your instance
i think youre correct. there is a PR for my platform (mbin) for a federated-edit bug that has been fixed in the next release
Well I'm happy because I like Calvin better than Bloom.
