Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.

Hi,

I got an old DVR that I would like to use.

Unfortunately on the device itself, no brand, no model name !?

Any idea how can I find any documentation ?

Thanks.

I've found some user manuals of DVRs very similar to yours and put them here

according to those, the username should be admin , and the password 123456 , unless some previous user changed it.

works for me, anyways, I've put it on mediafire, try this

P.S. I hate sharing files on the internet why does it need to be so hard

open it up and check the circuit board? What's it look like when you hook it up to a monitor?

Yep that will be my plan B if I can't found any documentation . it's ask for a password, but do not show brand nor model.

There are MAC address lookup tools that could at least give you a brand name or parent company.
