I've not seen it, as it was always described to me as a "kid's show". But now I'm thinking I should give it a real shot.

Personally, I didn't like the artstyle (It's not bad, just not for me) but the show is just good classic Trek. Also has a lot of good messages for the kids.
The first couple episodes had stock gag characters and a lot of self-conscious dialogue and it really annoyed me. Does it get better over time? I keep seeing a lot of good press about it.
