Great trigger especially for the price. If you have a dog, mention it in the order notes and ArfTac will send you dog treats with your order.

I can't believe there are actually people spending thousands of dollars on guns, and then continue paying more for swapping a trigger. The guns come with triggers, so why would you pay 100$ for a thing that is like the size of your pinky finger...

Guns make you stupid and kill people. Where are the gun laws...

Yeesh dude. Idk if you actually want a real answer or if you just want to hate us because of our passion but here goes:

Your basic AR-15 doesn't start in the thousands. An M&P15 can be had around $450. That gun is probably too cheap to be worth upgrading the trigger, but you get the idea. ARs have a wide range of prices and some make sense to buy and upgrade parts to, like a project car or a PC.

ARs are also like PCs because you might be building the gun from scratch, therefore you have no starting trigger to upgrade.

As for why you might want to upgrade a trigger? Its a mechanical device and the feel and responsiveness of that device is important, cheap triggers feel cheap just like cheap keyboards feel cheap. In competative shooting this could even put you at a disadvantage, a trigger that's hard to pull (a heavy pull) can cause you to slightly move your gun off target when you pull it and it takes you longer to pull (if your competition involves speed, fractions of a second count).

We aren't monsters here, we just want to enjoy our guns and discuss deals we find.

Guns are nothing you "play" with, just for fun, that's my opinion anyway.

Guns are deadly weapons, that you should only use when it makes sense to (which is certainly not carrying them around every day). The trigger that comes with the gun shoots the gun just as well as a 100$ trigger.

If you are at the point that you care about gun ergonomics you have missed the point of owning a gun.

Im going to make an assumption that you've never tried a bad and good trigger before, apologies if I'm wrong.

Will the worst milspec trigger work? Sure. If you want something that's going to improve your accuracy and speed, a better trigger can do that. So even if you only think guns should ever be fired to save your life, accuracy and speed are something you want.

But I disagree guns are only for self defense. Competition shooting is a perfectly valid reason to build a high end gun, its even an Olympic sport. Hunting needs accuracy too. If you practice your marksmenship at a range frequently, you going to appreciate a nice trigger.

Damn right, I’m a fucking vegetarian and a pacifist but I love long range target shooting!

What a dumb thing to comment. It’s almost like different triggers are useful for different use cases and preferences

A 2 stage will help your accuracy and pull for longer range shots for example.

A 2 stage is a very different experience than a single stage
