This is a Python script I've been playing around with - it copies your "owned" games from BGG into a collection in NeoDB.

I'm considering expanding it with plays but need to see how that works in NeoDB - I'm not sure if you can set "played" multiple times, it might work better to set as played once and add a note with each play.

Nice work, I am sure there will be more of this kind of thing in the works.

I’m not sure if you can set “played” multiple times, it might work better to set as played once and add a note with each play.

I'd be interesting in having more... granularity as a medium-term goal (as well as the shorter-term ones I posted to the wishlist thread). So, as it stands (unless I am missing something) I can only add, for example, that I'be watched a film once. If I watched it again (and flagged it accordingly, it would then reset that watched. If I owned it on DVD, I could add it to my collection "DVDs" but I couldn't include which specific DVD I own (I still have to use Blu-ray.com for that).

It's a good idea to get your core features nailed down, and I'd definitely like to see more data importing and Threadiverse integration, but, as it matures and becomes a core of the Fediverse (as I suspect it will) I think that added granularity and depth will be next.

It looks like if you reset the status to "playing" (or equivalent), you can then set "played" again, and it tracks it as a second play.

So I think this will work for my import/sync.

Cool, good to hear. I may give that a spin in a bit.
