This is one of those games that kept getting better. I picked it up in 2016 and it was a blast and perfectly playable, and I came back to nearly every major alpha update for a fresh playthrough. The 1.0 basically fixed almost all my complaints about the game by making crafting relevant again, and making armor matter. Still could use a polishing pass, but the game is fantastic and I highly recommend it if you like survival crafters.
And yet the netcode still sucks balls, to the point where the game becomes unplayable with 3+ people unless you put the time in to make a dedicated server for it.
There were also some very baffling decisions made for 1.0, like how there is now armor with a skill point chance on level up, apparently. Not sure how that one works in practice, but it doesn't sound like a well thought-out update.
i have been playing this game since 2013
let me say this a different way
I started playing this game when the iphone 5s wasnt out yet
Great modding community, many hours of survival crafting fun.
Simultaneously one of the jankiest, yet most fun games I've ever played and I've been playing it since pre-alpha. Idk how they did it but got it is so good/bad
Pass. There was a point when this game was enjoyable, but that was many updates ago. I might give it another try since I still own it but I'm not expecting much from these self destructive devs.
Trust me bro, the game is better than its ever been. Give it a shot
I might have to, people seem to be enjoying it.
lol just openly admitting you haven't experienced the remotely latest... Go ahead and keep judging things on assumptions. That always works so well for people...
It's a video game. It's not that big a deal if I don't play it.
My comment wasn't about a videogame, but your ability to judge things on merit and not assumption. Glad your logical skills seem to be similarly deficient.
