I get that some people just want to escape the big-company monopoly and use peer-to-peer technologies when possible, but the truth is that most people dont mind that as long as the product is practical.

I'm from Norway where we have an app like Venmo called Vipps. It's feeless and instant, uses an official bank-issued ID to log in so you can prove the ownership of your account with identification if you somehow lose access, and a lot of businesses have integrated it so you can pay pretty much anything with it.

So what benefit does nano really provide?
