I think that's why I've always been so resistant to having a steady job for long periods of time. I grew up with my dad always telling me that robots were going to do everything and life was basically going to just be chillin and enjoying things by the time I was his age. A lot of the technological things he talked about surely did come as he predicted, but the economics never changed, and have only gotten worse. I don't know what he would say if he were alive to have witnessed it all but he probably wouldn't have been so USA #1 anymore I'd like to think.

This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Even Keynes predicted sub-twenty hour work weeks back in his day by projecting worker productivity gains into the future. The productivity gains have been achieved, the reduction in working hours have not.
Capitalist realism.
