Reading from another instance all I have to say is that defedaration is not a solution to anything. Users can block other users and that's it. I am in favour of having the option to read any instance I find interesting. And really we all should drop the defederation drama and focus on debating others in a fair and civilized manner.

No, no need to. If they want to defederate let them do it. If we do it first they might think we are are actually affected by that decision. If an instance wants to defederate make one post about it and leave it like that. Don't fill the whole feed with how instance X wants to defed and stuff
Edit: let them get their dopamine hit from defederation. We don't lose anything. They are the one who lose.
Doesn't really matter to me, I mostly read local posts and when I look at all it is just a bunch of retarded posts not worth my time. Exploding heads seems to be the only worthwhile instance in my opinion.
So far the Fediverse works just like protestant churches.
