Repurposing furniture industry to produce drones just shows how Ukraine is innovating to be able to stay in this. We just need to send more gear to help them out while they keep ramping up their domestic production!

Turns out people get pretty motivated when they have to act quick or die

Great news. One interesting thing I took from the article is that Russia seems to be using basically one type of drone which the Ukrainians have developed the ability to detect from quite far out.

I'm not sure what the Russians detection and response capabilities are like but I can imagine it's a lot harder when Ukraine uses tens of different types of drones.

From the few images I've seen of guards at oil fields trying to shoot down an incoming drone as it goes towards it's target I'd guess they aren't able to detect them far enough ahead to get any more sophisticated defences in place.

I guess this is also one area where Russia's size is actually a pretty big disadvantage compared to Ukraine as well as the number of potential targets and the geographical dispersion would make it pretty tough to do much preparation ahead of time or place defences that could be moved into place quickly.

Very impressive what Ukraine has achieved with their drone attacks so far. The cost of drones vs economic damage inflicted on Russia is such incredible value. Let's hope the pressure keeps up!
