Please nominate a film for August's "Fedi Film Club"!

This is the "Popcorn Theater" ... for fun, popular films, box office hits and blockbusters. If you've got more "fringe" films in mind, you should check out the "Fringe Theater" post.

Anything that either you'd like to watch or would recommend to the community!

Please make sure it's more than roughly two years old so that it will (hopefully) be available somewhere.

And if possible, provide a quick description for why you'd like to watch or why you suggest it.

Blade (1998)

Various things have reminded me of this ... it came up in a community episode, the MCU version in development hell etc ... thought it might be interesting to revisit as a flavour that the MCU has definitely not explored

Sneakers

A ‘hacking’ movie that holds up brilliantly despite outdated technology. Excellent cast, characters, story, and pacing IMO.

Oh wow ... yes! Great pick. It is remarkable how well this holds up! Intentionally or not, it stuck to things that either still work today or would still be huge breakthroughs today.

One of my favorite action movies, Dredd (2012)
