Why do some people enjoy pissing in other's cereal?

[–] [email protected] 29 points 3 months ago

Because pissed cereal gets retweets over a normal bowl.

Because they're miserable and feeling superior to others gives them a brief dopamine hit.

Piss fetishists

Interesting that she thinks proposals are only about the proposer.

[–] [email protected] 65 points 3 months ago

Idk she seems pretty happy to be getting the proposal? Really weird flex to look at that picture and be like "I'd be so fucking miserable and angry if I were here 😏"

I don't think that's a great idea either, these public proposals create a lot of pressure and assuming she'd decline anyway her gold medal moment would be ruined.

I don't get this... Its weird to me that people would propose without knowing their SO would say yes..

With my wife, we'd both spoken about it and knew we wanted to get married one day. The proposal was more a formality than anything.. It feels like an odd thing to be surprised with and have to give an immediate answer on...

The moment of the proposal should be a surprise not the idea of a proposal.

I wish I had the ability to be more concise. You said exactly what I needed to say but didn't ramble like I did. Beautifully worded.

dude if you think that was rambling you should try to talk to me for five minutes. and see how you can get out of it twenty minutes later.

To be fair I've heard of scenarios where they absolutely 100% thought they'd say yes , they talked about it before. and then in the moment she says no. Things can change in the moment. Though I'm sure those are the exception.

That’s assuming they haven’t already discussed marriage and basically agreed in principle. I think modern day proposals should be much more of the “what were you waiting for? Yes!” variety rather than “what are you thinking? No!”

Oh don't worry, you'll never win anything anyway. No need to think too hard about it.

Sydney, how much do you think a badminton player that doesn't have a Nike sponsorship makes

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Badminton is a huge sport in China and Malaysia, so I'm pretty sure Nike 不 Nike, they are sorted financially.

lol you're supposed to lock it down BEFORE the world finds out they're the best in the world. this is like proposing to an NBA player just after they get drafted
