wait, why did the penalties get cancelled?
I'm not sure. I just remember hearing that the penalty shootout was scrapped and that they were moving straight to the trophy segment while I was nodding off xD
I tried to look into it and found an article from football.london that just says:
"Lyon decided midway through the match that they did not want to take part in one. When asked about it post-match, Arteta said: "We didn’t play it at the end and that’s it.""
Lyon embarrased enough I think
Given that we failed to get any attackers on the score sheet, I think that bodes well for our transfer prospects.
