This community is for infodumping about whatever your special interests are!

Lemmy is still burgeoning, and we yet to have enough members in many communities to actually hold conversations about many interests, especially very narrow ones. In hopes of creating a safe space for those that wish to talk about their interests, this place was created to facilitate those talks, and if a relevant community is found that went missed, sharing that in the comments to help OP find a space for themselves.

Posting Rules:

1. Rules must comply instance rules, please read them.
2. Please search for existing communities of your interest first and confirm there aren't any active ones. If you post here, expect some may recommend relevant communities.
3. Post length does not matter, if you want to dump a single fact or a whole top-to-bottom educational post, go for it.
4. In your title, add a bracketed tag to make clear the interest, eg [Fountain Pens]
5. No memes as a post please, this is a place for interaction, though you may use them inside your post.
6. Label potentially triggering information and spoiler it.
7. No special interest policing or degradation. No one should be made to feel bad for their interests, nor should anyone be made to feel bad for not knowing information.
8. Cross-posting is acceptable but keep it to text posts.
