Indie studio Wenkly has released the multiplayer shooter Astro Hunters VR for SteamVR. A Meta Quest version will also be released soon, probably before the end of this quarter. Wenkly Studio is offering a 10% discount on Steam for the release. The studio is asking for honest feedback in the form of reviews and comments. Wenkly also published a first roadmap for Astro Hunters VR. A cross-play mode with Meta Quest, improvements based on community feedback and new weapon attachments will be added in September and October.
New missions and powerful bosses are planned for 2024 and 2025, which will drop epic weapons, augmentations and other items as rewards. Later, a second and third planet, improved enemy AI, and a botanical garden will follow. Other ideas include an armor system, improvements to the inventory system, and the implementation of fan ideas.
