Auburn did not make it. This is a good sign! ๐ฆ ๐

Another year, another time A&M gets ranked low to boost SEC schedules.
At least WVU receiving votes tho! Neal gonna take us to the B12 championship game (he's gonna go 7-5 and we're gonna flame out after Pitt)
Preseason ranking are based on returning players and recruiting class. A&M always has a good recruiting class they just never manage to do anything with them.
Yeah, but at a certain point, that needs to be taken into account. Not that pre-season ranks necessarily matter, but it does play into what assumptions are made of other teams. This will presumably turn into a top 20 win for a conference opponent just based on "they had good recruiting".
Sigh. Go to the fucking natty, get left off the list. I get that Washington has had massive turnover, but that's still bullshit in my brain.
They also lost handily to a team from their new conference.
Alright I guess it's time to get off my offseason ass and put together our preseason poll...
How many won't be top 25 at the end if the season? I'd say around 8.
Dang UTSA getting votes and Texas Tech getting nothing feels like I'm in a simulation
Maybe they should have made a better offer to lure Traylor away from San Antonio. I did think Joey McGuire would have similar success when they went with him, but that hasn't materialized on the field yet.
As for this season, I do expect UTSA to slip a little with Harris gone, and there's room for Tech to climb (but the Big XII is so stacked there's not much room)
