30 Rock did have a bit of pilot-itis (to say nothing of the Rachel Dratch version), but even the pilot was very solid and I think it was almost to its stride by around episode four.

Rules:
- All DubVee instance rules apply. See the sidebar at https://dubvee.org/. Those are pretty comprehensive, so we don't really need to add much to those.
- No politics outside of what's referenced on the show. Let's leave that drama elsewhere since there's plenty of it.
- All posts must be 30 Rock related or adjacent. You dummies are awesome, so I don't think I've ever had to mod any posts for this, but codifying it for good measure.
- Less a rule and more of a guideline, but please try to provide alt text if your instance + client combination support it. If not, then please try to make an effort to provide a description of any image posts in the post body. Let's be an a11y when we can :)
- Don't make fun of people for misusing dated cultural references. Are we all cowabunga on this?
- No talking about Krang. It would be a waste of time to talk about Krang on ~~television~~ the internet.
Inflamed pilot?
Is Pilot-osis a more medically accurate diagnosis?
I don't know, I don't get what the implication is supposed to be.
Oooh, let's call in Dr. Spaceman for a consult
Well, I'm out of ideas
I think this probably would've been the funniest joke in the pilot, if they'd left it in.
Five inches, but it's thick.
'Head of East Coast Television and Microwave Oven Programming' would probably be my favourite joke in the pilot, if Liz wouldn't explain the joke in the very next line.
30 Rock is my favourite sitcom but that just makes me so much more critical of the first quarter of Season 1 and parts of Season 8 (cough Hazel cough).
