Pizza was the coveted flavor because kids = love pizza. But it was so bad. And you had to convince yourself that the rectangle of cardboard "crust", the cold sauce packet and unmelted shredded cheese product were just absolutely making your day, because this is a treat. I will enjoy this. My friends are envious. Today is a good day.
I remember them. Delicious pizza, at lunch! And it didn't even have to be pizza day at the cafeteria. So good.
I got one recently for nostalgia's sake. The crust was dry, too firm, and had little flavor. The cheese was bland, and was covered in starch that dessicated it. The sauce at least had some seasoning but it had this off-putting sweetness to it.
They must have changed them, it wasn't me whose tastes matured.
I've been getting them almost yearly since for 20 years and I never noticed a difference

It's always been a circle but I still enjoy a lunchables pizza every once in a while. I definitely don't get it if I'm in the mood for pizza but it's a good snack. I get the pepperoni and the extra cheese and make a bunch of them with a couple pepperoni and extra cheese
but that's my favorite flavor. I prefer the ones without the cookies though. just ham, cheese, and crackers... mmmm
Never got these with any regularity as a kid so when I did get one I loved the hell out of them.
My folks refused to pay the premium. You are going to have your squished sandwich and like it.
They didn’t exist when I was a kid but I occasionally buy them for myself as an adult.
I occasionally steal them from my kids lol. My parents couldn't afford them when I was young. That vanilla cookie is good until it's not.

I used to love the deluxe version that came with a little squeeze packet of herb sauce. That sauce is my white whale. People say it was a mustard dill sauce, but all the ones I've tried just don't taste right.
Those things are loaded with all the extra lead, cadmium, and PFAS that kids need to grow up strong!
