Well, let's hope they can do something with it. I played the beta and was so disappointed I just downloaded Payday 2 and never even bought 3.
Honestly, if the people in charge of 2 now were responsible for it all along it would be just as dog shit as 3. Payday 2 used to be fantastic, but I wouldn't bother anymore.
I wish I could still play it as it used to be.

I wonder if those numbers have anything to do with the fact that Payday 2 is pretty regularly on sale for like $2,for a mature game, while Payday 3 is $40 for what is essentially a public beta based on the amount of things they're having to fix/change/update.
Nah payday 3 flopped. They had stupid decisions that are fundamentally ruining the game and got rid of the people buying in early. It's also unfinished as you mentioned. Can't fully stealth heists - which a lot of people do in Payday 2 - the assassin gameplay and stealth are simple and really fun (when they work). The initial levelling system was bonkers.
It deserved what it got
Whoever designed payday 3 should be fired. It’s nothing like payday 2 in terms of controls. The controls made sense in 2. In 3 I couldn’t figure out basic buttons without looking it up. Not to mention time and 3 others were stuck in the tutorial because it was bugged.
Well I mean they did an aqful.job making payday 3 it's worse than 2 ....
