Honestly, I felt it was dunking on Shakespeare a bit - the witches in Macbeth tell him that "Be bloody, bold, and resolute. Laugh to scorn The power of man, for none of woman born Shall harm Macbeth." and the twist is that Macduff was a C-section baby. Which isn't exactly rare anymore. The "I am no man" is the better solution, lol.
