I play most of my games on the train to work. What are some good games for playing in short bursts? Recently beat Pokemon Red, and lately I've been playing some classic Tetris.

What device are you using? If it is a GBA then any game with a proper sleep mode. I think metroid zero, zelda minish cap, probably all the first party games really. If you are on something that has built in sleep mode, then I'm pretty big on the Sonic Advanced games for short play.

For older stuff, maybe ducktales since you will die within a minute or two anyway. Pokemon pinball and super mario bros are also good.

I think most Game Boy games fit in that category, due to the nature of the portable system.

Is there a specific genre you're interested in? Do you care about cartridge cost?

If you have hardware for running homebrew games, Tobu Tobu Girl is an excellent choice.
