Nobody was sure if Tesla could accomplish the feat of production scaling. But, once deliveries started happening: up, up, and away! Tesla had proven it could deliver mass produced, desirable vehicles.

TM3 was a ~$40K car. Where's Rivian's? The R3 isnt expected until 2027...

Not today, because they axed the standard range model. I'm talking about the time in history this article is referring to, when the Model 3 first launched and sold for $37k.
