Dell and Alienware are by far the most infamous product brands in the OEM prebuilt market for constantly having the WORST computers and laptops of all time.
Their products are known for having:
- proprietary unupgradable hardware
- extreemly poor value proposition
- horrendous customer support
- you definitely can't repair anything
- preinstalled bloatware (you're better off reinstalling Windows right after it arrives)
- trash BIOS/UEFI (often locked) options
Honestly as a freelance IT Consultant for several years I always recommend my customers to stay away from Dell and Alienware as they're infamous for constantly making useless Ewaste that many in the tech industry absolutely despise🔥
I'm actually surprised that Dell hasn't gone under before Intel (this is mostly due to their server-side and enterprise business honestly)
