Not that it's much to brag about, or that I'm rare for having done so, but I definitely called this one. I am really not sure how they ever really thought FreeCAD just needed Cloud PDM to make a dent in the commercial market. Hell, part of me wonders if the devs actually believed that, or if this was all a low-grade Robin Hood grift to plow some VC resources into FreeCAD for a couple of years. ๐Ÿคฃ

Well, damn! Ondsel ES was what made my transition from F360 that much easier. Really hoping I can fly FreeCAD 1.0 as easily as I could Ondsel. Grabbing RC1 now... ๐Ÿคž

I understand if you grab an RC build and use the OpenDark theme and the associated preference pack, it should get you most of the way there.

Damn. They will be missed. Their improvements to the sketcher actually made FreeCAD viable IMO.

I think everything except the PDM itself has been submitted to the upstream project. I had some stability and other issues that led me in a another direction (Alibre), but the weekly builds should look and act a lot like Ondsel if you use the OpenDark theme and preference pack.
