Go post like hello in TheDonald You'll get like instant downvotes. Smells like bots to me.
If you had any idea about how this software works you could go look in the database and see where the downvotes where coming from. I bet you there are zero bots. If it were bots the amount of downvotes would be many times higher, especially since you have open registration and don't even need an email address to sign up. But blame it on the invisible enemies again.
I actually know the code base very well. This isn't my instance and I don't have access to it's postgres.
Up- and downvotes are federated to other instances so they are visible to admins with a little bit of postgresql knowledge. So you could set up your own instance and have a look

Then you would know it isn't bots. There are no automated downvoted. They get two or three downvotes on their posts and it's "bots!". And make rage posts 🙄

I just wish there was a way to see local vs federated downvotes... Or maybe there is and I'm just an idiot
A lot of my posts to dank memes get similar downvotes. I don't really give a shit bc I assume most of that is coming from a few very autistic individuals on very left leaning instances who rather than user-block me/EH and move on, mistakenly think I'll care if I'm downvoted.
I don't care one way or the other about downvotes but I guess leaving them is kinda fun to see how many snowflakes get triggered. If anything, I wish there was a quicker way to find out your high score (post with highest number downvotes). I'm sure some of you got me beat but my best so far is 17 dv on this one
